I'm looking into this. As of now it is my understanding that your body responds to say as estrogen. If you are on a muscle gain goal it is better to be drinking milk rather than soy.
Any comments?

Tue, March 1, 2005 - 1:39 AMI don't like soy that much. Its in so much stuff as it is already. I try to avoid it so I don't OD. Too much energy for me to digest. Too many farts:) Besides there have been studies coming out that too much soy gives you brain damage...? -

Tue, March 1, 2005 - 4:09 PMAbsolutely! I've been a vegetanarian all my life and the soy overdoseage has seariously aefffected my braaain.......On the other hand, I somehow manage to keep my girlish figure so maybe that's the estrogen.
Don't mean to be flippant. Seriously I think it all, and always, comes back to keeping a balanced diet. Too much soy is probably *almost* as harmful as eating too much meat. :-)
